Gates Named as Co-Defendant in Dutch Vaccine Lawsuit

While it is not true that Bill Gates has been indicted in the Netherlands, it is true that he is facing a private lawsuit there over his alleged role in “promoting” covid-19 vaccines.

This is according to Reuters news agency which published a fact check on an article that claimed Gates had been INDICTED.

According to the Cambridge Dictionary online, the term “indicted” refers to a situation in which “a court accuses [someone] officially of a crime”.

However, the Dutch court has already refuted Gates’ claim that it does not have jurisdiction over the case because he is an American citizen.  Below is an English translation of the Dutch court document which can be found here. 

In fact, according to the Reuters fact check, the Dutch court has ordered Gates to pay the associated legal costs and ruled that the main case can move forward.
