Last week we wrote about Dr. Corey Forde’s call for prayer for this country in the wake of a turn for the worse in the death rate from covid-19 in Barbados. That article can be found here.
We have not yet seen any national effort to address his call. That does not mean that individual assemblies and groups of Christian have not been praying. It would be spiritual conceit on our part to assume this.
But those who are awake need not wait for a call from the leadership of the church once it is understood that the church or ecclesia are all those who have been “called out” to serve the King, not just the leaders.
Our call, first and foremost, is a call to an ongoing PRAYER PROJECT about this pandemic which has been deliberately started and is being exploited for economic and political reasons. As we explained very carefully in our article here, this pandemic is not one of the biblical plagues in the book of Revelation. It is not God’s way of trying to punish us.
It is time we brought the pandemic to an end; all across the world! If you are awake and in tune you will know that the covid-19 pandemic has to be tackled all across the world at the same time.

It is also quite clear to us that the end of covid-19 will not be the end of trouble for us. Those who are WIDE awake know this as surely as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. Even as we write, very grave trouble is brewing in the MIDDLE EAST for Israel.
Trouble is also brewing in the FAR EAST where CHINA is flexing its military muscle against Taiwan and threatening nuclear war against the Australians for simply demanding that it be held accountable for the covid-19 pandemic. These events will surely affect us.
Despite the fact that we like to think that our country is immune from the problems in the rest of the world, this covid-19 pandemic has demonstrated once and, hopefully for all time, that we are NOT.
Many of us do not like the direction our country has been taking especially over the last three years. Therefore, we are calling for ongoing focused prayer and the exercise of KINGDOM AUTHORITY over and on behalf of this country with respect to the economic, political, financial and social affairs of our country.
We feel that no less than a SPIRITUAL SHADOW CABINET (SSC) will help us focus the ENERGIES and AUTHORITY OF HEAVEN that have been vested in us as the ecclesia.

Just remember, we are NOT setting up a church, trying to compete with established assemblies, asking for any donations or anything of the sort. But neither are we interested in long talk or “playing church” but in PLAYING HARDBALL WITH THE FORCES OF DARKNESS.

It is quite clear from our CIC’s statement that God will be calling home a victorious church and not a whimpering one which seems to be its present condition!
OUR MISSION IS TO EXERCISE KINGDOM AUTHORITY HERE AND NOW TO MAKE OUR COUNTRY A BETTER PLACE UNTIL WE ARE CALLED HOME.

The purpose of the Gideon Commission is to help all of us reach new heights in spiritual warfare by focused study of the word of God which we know is sharper than a two-edged sword. As we said, this is a matter of the heart so only you and Jehovah know whether this is assignment for you. Like you, we will be guided by HIM in selecting those for this first spiritual battalion. It is HIS army!
Lastly, although this call was intended primarily for Barbadians, it would be foolish of us if we treated this as a Barbados only matter. It is not and we said that earlier. So this invitation is open to all those who follow us wherever you are.
