The fortunes of our Cuban brothers and sisters have taken a turn for the worse. The Miami Herald and several other media are reporting that the Cuban regime has now criminalized the use of social media.
According to The Hill, “social media was seen as a key tool for the protest organizers, and authorities began to censor certain sites on July 12, a day after the protests began”.
Meanwhile, the Epoch Times has revealed involvement of the Chinese Government (CCP) in an August 04 article entitled “Chinese Paramilitary Trained Cuban Security Forces Responsible for Suppressing Protesters”.
No surprise here. That is why we keep waring about the shenanigans of CCP across the world and particularly in our region.
In our upcoming Barbados Report we will critically assess the role of the Barbados and other Caribbean Governments on the Cuban question in our major article entitled: Have Caribbean Leaders Thrown the Cuban People under the Bus?
